PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emitting element prevented from deterioration of a yield and increase of manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The organic light emitting element having a dopant easy to handle is provided. To be more precise, an organic compound layer 25 virtually in electric contact with a cathode electrode 26 is composed of an organic compound and potassium salt, and the potassium salt is potassium carboxylate salt.
