PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the impossibility of guaranteeing the real timeness of recording/reproducing due to frequent head seeking between the areas for recording a plurality of files when a plurality of data having real timeness are simultaneously recorded/reproduced in/from different files by using a file system. SOLUTION: When a plurality of data having real timeness are recorded, the plurality of data are multiplexed and continuously recorded as 1-dimensional data, and file management information is updated so as to manage the data as the different files. When the plurality of data having real timeness are reproduced, a plurality of file reading addresses are sorted in the order of the addresses on a medium to continuously read the data with minimum head seeking, and subsequently the data are classified in different files based on the file management information to obtain a plurality of reproduced data.
