PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant cycle device capable of avoiding an unstable operating condition of a compressor under a low load. SOLUTION: This refrigerant cycle device uses carbon dioxide as a refrigerant, and comprises a bypass circuit 100 branched from a middle section of a refrigerant inlet pipe 92 for returning a part of the refrigerant discharged from a first rotary compressing element 32 to an suction side under a low load, a bypass valve 101 for opening and closing the bypass circuit 100, and a control device 110 for controlling the open and close of the bypass valve 101.
