PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve easiness-to-use of an automatic faucet, by switching a water discharge flow rate to a plurality of stages on the basis of will of a faucet user, in the automatic faucet for discharging and cutting off water on the basis of sensing of the human body by human body sensing sensors. SOLUTION: This automatic faucet 18 has the human body sensing sensors 42R and 42L, and automatically discharges or cuts off the water from a water discharge port 26 on the basis of sensing of the human body by the human body sensing sensors 42R and 42L. These human body sensing sensors 42R and 42L are constituted as a noncontact type sensor with the water discharge pipe 22 side as a sensing area; preset a selectable water discharge flow rate in a plurality of stages; and discharges the water from the water discharge port 26, by selecting any water discharge flow rate preset in response to the length of time for sensing the human body by the human body sensing sensors 42R and 42L.
