PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact-absorbing type insert and its manufacturing method so as not to concentrate stress around an insert embedding section by adding an impact absorbing function by molding an insert in the shape of having a deflection section. SOLUTION: The insert 1 is so constituted that a fixed section 3 of a cylindrical body having no screw-clamping section in the inner surface, a movable section of the cylindrical body by making the inner surface as a screw section 4a and making the outer surface as an axial parallel surface and an impact absorbing section 2 formed in a deformable shape located between the fixed section and the movable section 4, and its manufacturing method is so manufactured that a cylindrical member is set in a metal-mold notching an outside-shape of the impact-absorbing type insert equipped with the fixed section , the movable section and the impact absorbing section 2, pressure is applied to the inside of the cylindrical member to expand, and the cylindrical member is pushed against an insert shape notch section of the metal-mold to mold in the insert shape formed in the metal-mold.
