PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blind capable of giving the alarm with a simple constitution at a low cost and detecting the alarm even if it sneaks through without breaking any slat. SOLUTION: The blind capable of lifting and lowering the slats 16 by supporting a plurality of slats 16 on ladder codes 14 vertically hanging down from a head box 12 in a state of standing in a row, relatively making up and down motion of both front and back vertical codes of the ladder codes 14 to make the inclination of the slats 16 variable and lifting and lowering rising and falling codes 18 vertically hanging down from the head box 12 is equipped with a detection means 28 for enabling the slackness of the rising and falling codes 18 and the ladder codes 14 to detect and an alarm signal generation means for outputting an alarm signal when the slackness of the ladder codes 14 is detected by the detection means 28.
