The head restraint has a holder (3.1), fastened to the seat (2) in connection points (5), and a net (4) fastened to the holder. Further holders (3.2,3.3,3.4) are provided separate from the first one, and all are rod-shaped and reelscopic. The net is fastened to all holders and extend between them. A holder is elastic and/or plastic, can be pivoted at right angles to its central axis (3.5), and fixed in every position. Every two holders define a trapeze-shaped frame accommodating a net part (4.1). The net is elastic and/or plastic.
