Comparison of digital text files or documents that have different arrangements of text sections by location of matching roots, i.e. words or word groups, and then expansion of comparison areas around the roots

Text file comparison method in which unique root elements, such as words, word groups or other unique textual formatting functions are defined from a first document. The same roots are then search for in a second document. If matching roots are found an area around the root is found. Area comparison continues until no more matches are found. The result of the comparison process is either a remainder area in which there are no matches or a complete match between the documents. The invention also relates to corresponding software and a computer system for method implementation.
