<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight cap easy to adjust fitting strength and liquidtightness and capable of also assuring airtightness. <P>SOLUTION: The airtight cap includes a spouting member 2 mounted on the periphery of a spout 8 of the container 4 having a hollow tubular spouting tube 9 communicating with the spout formed, a cap body 3 to be put over the spouting member from upward and having a hollow tubular plug 16 to be inserted into the spouting tube so that it can be vertically inserted/removed with its surface brought into slide contact with the surface of the spouting tube to form an airtight seal, a fitting means located outward from the spouting tube between the cap body and the spouting member and having an annular projection 17 and a recessed groove 19 to have the cap body and the spouting member detachably fitted with each other, and a lifting means located outward from the spouting tube between the cap body and the spouting member having a push-up protrusion 22 and a contact protrusion 23 for lifting up the cap body from the spouting member to release the fitting by the fitting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
