<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program data processing method capable of simply coping with every revision in the case where electronic program guide data are acquired and the recording of a serial program which is broadcast almost periodically is reserved. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of reserving the recording of a particular program which is almost periodically broadcast, whether or not the particular program is broadcast on a date and time of the periodical broadcasting is searched on the basis of the program data. When the particular program is broadcast, the recording on the date and time is reserved. When the particular program is not broadcast on the date and time of the periodical broadcasting, whether the particular program is broadcast within a range of a prescribed time width with respect to the date and time of the periodical broadcasting is searched on the basis of the program data, and when the particular program is found to be broadcast, the recording on the searched date and time is reserved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
