<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of more improving volume stability compared to a conventional one and relaxing the restrictive condition of slag to be an object in the improvement of the volume expansion of the discharged steel slag. <P>SOLUTION: The method of melting and modifying the steel slag is performed by thermally spraying a modifying material using an oxygen burner, or adding the modifying material and after that, irradiating with the oxygen burner or adding the modifying material and after that, thermally spraying the modifying material using the oxygen burner on the slag discharged to a transporting vessel from a metallurgy furnace. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
