TWO-COMPONENT SYSTEM DEVELOPER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component system developer which is fast in startup of an electrostatic charge of toner and with which an image of high fineness can be obtained and an image forming method using the developer. SOLUTION: The two-component system developer is characterized in that the toner is obtained by kneading and pulverizing a polyester resin as a binder resin and subjecting the particles thus obtained to conglobation treatment and that a magnetic carrier has the shape coefficient SF of the particles ranging from 1.0 to 1.3 and SF2 from 1.1 to 2.5 and is obtained by direct polymerization from magnetic powder and a thermosetting resin. The developer is fast in the startup of the electrostatic charge of the toner, is free from fogging and can provide the image of the high fineness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
