PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid danger that a passenger becomes hard of hearing by suitably grasping and controlling the noise level in a car room. SOLUTION: The hearing defect preventing apparatus comprises a noise measuring unit 1 for measuring the noise level at a microphone position based on the pressure of sound inputted from the microphone 15, a decider 2 for deciding whether or not the measured noise level exceeds a specified threshold, and a warning executer 3 for executing a warning when the level is decided to exceed it. This executes the warning when the actual noise level measured based on the input sounds from the microphone 15 exceeds the threshold, and hence the danger of hard of hearing can be objectively grasped based on the actual noise level.
