PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin coated aluminum sheet capable of preventing an unopened state or the obstruction of lightly opening operation without causing the occurrence of feathering or the cutting of a resin layer at the time of opening in a case adapted to an easily openable container lid, especially a case performing opening operation in a state that a filled beverage such as soup, a coffee beverage, a tea beverage and the like is heated as content by a hot vender or the like. SOLUTION: In the polyester resin coated aluminum sheet, the double refractivce index of a resin layer, which is formed by coating an aluminum plate with a polyester resin with a glass transition point of 65°C or above, is 0.01 or below and the elongation at break thereof at 60°C after processing is applied in a sheet thickness reducing ratio of 30% is 600% or below.
