PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain supply performance high in precision by preventing the flushing of powder when the powder is supplied by using a powder supplying apparatus. SOLUTION: The powder supplying apparatus is composed of a powder stock hopper and a weight type feeder and has a valve mechanism which can set the refill lower limit setting of a weight type feeder hopper to be at least 30%, a mechanism in which the length L of a conveying screw is 15-50 D, a mechanism in which the screw pitch Lp1 of the opening of a feeder screw is 1.0-4.0 D, and a mechanism in which the space volume V per unit volume of the screw is 10-30 m<SP>3</SP>/m<SP>3</SP>.
