PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein measuring method for performing quantity determination on many items simultaneously in a short period of time. SOLUTION: This method for determining the quantity of protein is equipped with a process for solubilizing tissues or cells in a pre-treatment liquid to prepare crude protein solution, a process for bringing the prepared crude protein solution into contact with a solid phase to combine crude protein with the solid phase, and a process for determining the quantity of objective protein by using a substance specifically combining with the objective protein in the crude protein combined with the solid phase. Solubilized solution obtained by solubilizing the cells or tissues is brought into direct contact with the solid phase, thereby combining the protein with the solid phase. Since the quantity of the protein is determined by using the substance specifically combining with the objective protein to be detected, the quantity of the protein can be determined in a short period of time and by less processes.
