PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elastomer composition excellent in abrasion resistance, and to provide a rubber roller consisting of the elastomer composition and excellent in the abrasion resistance when idle running. SOLUTION: The elastomer composition is prepared so that it contains a rubber ingredient (A) containing at least one of diene rubbers or EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer) rubbers, a blend composition (B) of a hydrogenated styrenic thermoplastic elastomer and an olefinic resin, and a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer (C) in which a part of the double bonds is left intact, so that the styrenic thermoplastic elastomer (C) is formulated in a proportion of≥2 pts.wt and≤100 pts.wt. to 200 pts.wt. of the blend (B), so that the rubber ingredient (A) is dispersed through dynamic crosslinking in the blend composition (B) which has the styrenic thermoplastic elastomer (C) dispersed therein.
