PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member which is sealed by a sealant, wherein the sealant does not deteriorate by ultraviolet light absorption and causes no distortion of adhesion in covering optical elements and the like, free from causing axial deviation, is easy to be cured because a solvent is volatilized even from the inner part and has no necessity to conduct the heat treatment, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A fluorine type organic compound is employed as the most suitable substance charged in the optical member used in an ultraviolet light area. The fluorine type organic compound (for example, fluorine type oil) is charged between a plurality of the optical members (lens) used in an ultraviolet light area.
