<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily vary parameter of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Image quality adjustment parameters for each type of paper are stored in program ROM 80. The image adjusting parameters are set respectively for the matrix of temperature and humidity, and this setting is individually provided for each type of paper. In NVM74, data which are automatically varied and data which are not automatically varied according to the place where the image forming apparatus is installed are provided. The automatically varied data of NVM74 are 16 image adjusting parameters corresponding to the quality of one paper selected. When the change of the image adjusting parameters is decided to be necessary by a control circuit, the image quality adjusting parameters for NVM74 corresponding to the selected paper type are automatically updated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
