<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a printer capable of obtaining a print result earliest from among a plurality of printers disposed on a network. <P>SOLUTION: Not only time for print jobs having been cued is determined, but also a printing end time of each printer is accurately estimated from parameters, including a printing paper medium type, print quality, a color or monochrome page and a need for warm-up processing before a printing start from a standby state.
