<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To naturally control the motion of a character regarding a game development such as a soccer game in such a manner as to be based on the motion of an actual game player. <P>SOLUTION: A visual field 300 of a visibility angleαis set in the direction (the direction shown by arrow 122) of the body of a ball keeper character 120 who keeps a ball 500. Then, when the ball keeper character 120 is an NPC, one character from among player characters 100a belonging to the same team as the ball keeper character 120 is selected as a pass receiver character.
