PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to miniaturize a magnet and to obtain a static magnetic field with high uniformity by constitution of an inclined magnetic field coil in the inclined magnet field coil used by combining with an open type magnet. SOLUTION: This static magnetic field generator has a static magnetic field generating source comprising superconductive magnets 1 and 1 disposed by sandwiching a static magnetic field generating area 2, a supporting means comprising two or more of columnar members 4 and 4 mutually connecting and supporting the static magnetic field generating source comprising the above superconductive magnets 1 and 1, an inclined magnetic field generating means 5 generating an inclined magnetic field with a Z component in the static magnetic field generating area 2, and an inclined magnetic field generating means 6 generating a magnetic field of X and Y components in the static magnetic field generating area 2, and is constituted so that the inclined magnetic field generating means 6 are fitted to the above supporting means.
