PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a wireless control system capable of smoothly operating the entire system consisting of a control device and a controlled device, by preventing an increase in the processing amount required for identifying control data on the control device side, even if the number of controlled devices to be controlled by the control device increase. SOLUTION: This wireless AV system 101 forms a wireless transmission network 1 in which a wireless center unit 102 is connected to a TV main body unit 103 via a radio LAN. The unit 102 transmits control data formed by adding an identification code for identifying devices in the system 101 to a control command to the unit 103. The unit 103 reads the identification code contained in the received control data, identifies a device for which the control command contained in the control data is to be executed, and transmits the control data to the identified device.
