PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet jetting apparatus and a droplet jetting method capable of heating a jetting head with low energy consumption in an inkjet apparatus which jets a high viscosity liquid such as lubricant oil and resin. SOLUTION: The droplet jetting apparatus is provided with: a jetting head 34 comprising a cavity for storing the liquid, a nozzle communicating with the cavity and a jetting means for jetting the liquid stored in the cavity from the nozzle 18; and a liquid tank 35 which stores the liquid to be supplied to the jetting head 34. The droplet jetting apparatus is also provided with: a heating means disposed on the delivery head 34; and a capping means 50 with which the nozzle 18 on the jetting head 34 is air-tightly covered.
