PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for a vehicle capable of carrying out air-conditioning close to the sense of an actual occupant, by estimating a difference between the temperature of interior temperature sensor and the temperature of an infrared sensor in a vehicular room center. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner for the vehicle, comprises an air-conditioning blow-off temperature controlling means deciding target blow-off temperature on the basis of the infrared sensor, the interior temperature sensor, and signals from these sensors. The infrared sensor is installed so as to make a visual field center of a light-receiving portion of the infrared sensor face a generally center between a driver's seat and a front passenger seat when viewed from a vehicular room front side. A visual field angle of the light-receiving portion is set to detect infrared information in the vehicular room center portion, infrared information at a part or all of the driver's seat, and infrared information at a part or all of the front passenger seat.
