PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a row-type multi-layered two-story house in a first-class low-layered exclusive residential district, which effectively uses underground, limits the height of the house to 10 m or below, and brings about comfortable livability to the resident. SOLUTION: In construction of the house, the ground surface GL of a plot is excavated down to a depth H<SB>1</SB>which is calculated by subtracting 10 m from the entire height H<SB>2</SB>of the house to be constructed, so as to have a form that can secure a dry area 11 on the periphery of a residential space 9 on a first basement 1 of the house to be constructed, to thereby develop house construction ground surface GL'. Then a first multi-layered first-story housing unit 1 is set and fixed onto the house construction ground surface GL', and a second multi-layered first-story housing unit 15 is set and fixed onto the first multi-layered first-story housing unit 1, such that the height H of the two-story house consisting of the first and second multi-layered first-story housing units 1, 15 is limited to 10 m or below.
