CHARACTERISTIC AMOUNT EXTRACTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic amount extraction device which can more clearly discriminate a voice signal from another voice signal. SOLUTION: By performing a frequency conversion for a part of the signal having a prescribed time length included in the inputted voice signal, a frequency conversion 11 derives a frequency spectrum of the part of the signal. A band extraction 12 extracts a plurality of bands from the frequency spectrum derived by the frequency conversion 11, and outputs a band spectrum which is the frequency spectrum for each extracted band. A characteristic amount calculation 13 calculates the amount of a prescribed characteristic for each band spectrum, and makes the calculated amount of each prescribed characteristic as the amount of the characteristic of the voice signal.
