PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of cathode-ray tube capable of preventing adhesion of a reagent liquid and cleaning liquid on the outside surface of a panel and capable of preventing enlargement of the installation space and increase of the installation cost. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of cathode-ray tube is a method of manufacturing a phosphor surface on the inside face of a cathode-ray tube panel 3. An anti-adhesion sheet 7 for preventing adhesion of the reagent liquid and cleaning liquid is airtightly stuck onto the outside surface of the the cathode-ray tube panel 3 so as to cover a functional film formed on a display area of the outside surface of the panel, and a reagent liquid treatment and a cleaning liquid treatment at each required process for applying the phosphor surface onto the inside face of the cathode-ray tube panel 3 in the state of sticking the anti-adhesion sheet 7, are performed.
