PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable fixing belt for an image heating device capable of heating with low energy by use of a small-heat-capacity heating body. SOLUTION: The fixing belt has at least a releasing layer and a metal layer formed from nickel electroformed. The reflection density value of the surface of the nickel electroformed belt is 0.9 to 2.0. Using the nickel electroformed belt substrate having the appropriate reflection density value makes it possible to obtain the high quality fixing belt whose heat resistance and sufficient strength are ensured and heat-resistant durability is sufficiently satisfied as well.
