PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet pile which is easy to be pulled up by making contacting adhered soil into a fluidized-saturated condition at the time of placement and forming an adhered-soil shearing plane on the contacting adhered soil. SOLUTION: On at least both sides of a web portion of the steel sheet pile, a plurality of straight projections are extended evenly spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the web portion, so that the adhered-soil shearing plane to shear the contacting adhered soil at the time of driving can be formed near the projections.
