PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure one door opening area lessening door rotation track generated by opening and closing a door. SOLUTION: The door for a residence comprises: a swing main door 1 dividing a door opening part into two in a vertical direction, performing a function blocking part thereof and rotatably supported at one end side; and a slide sub-door 2 provided slidably and movably in a horizontal direction to perform the function blocking a residual part of the opening part and provided to be engaged with the opposite side end face of a rotation and support side of the main door 1. The sub-door 2 is provided with a projection 21 engaged with a recess 15 provided on the main door 1 at one end side thereof.
