PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition which gives a molded article excellent in external appearance, plane impact resistance, and melt thermal stability and having a low thermal expansion coefficient. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) 30-93 at.% aromatic polycarbonate resin, (B) 5-35 wt.% platy inorganic filler selected from the group consisting of graphite, mica, glass flakes, and platy calcium carbonate, (C) 1-46 wt.% aromatic polyester resin, and (D) 0.005-1 wt.% organic phosphate-based stabilizer, the sum of the ingredients (A), (B), (C), and (D) being 100 wt.%. From the composition, the molded article exhibiting good external appearance and mechanical strength, a small thermal expansion coefficient, and a small warp can be stably produced on an industrial scale.
