PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device for solids capable of reducing damage of the solid surface such as cracking, chipping, etc., exfoliation due to printing, and generation of printing transcription when the solid is charged from the upper part to the lower part, allowing easy cleaning when the item is changed over, precluding contamination certainly, and assuring sanitation and excellent performance. SOLUTION: The solid charging device 20 is arranged so that a transport container 12 is installed at the first hopper 14 upon closing all pinch valves 24 at first. Tablets 40 are dropped through a tube hose 28 by opening the pinch valves 24 at certain intervals in the sequence from above while the air from a control means 30 is controlled, and are charged into the second hopper 16.
