PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilling device with which soil is plowed with straws, or the like, in a deep position below cultivated soil. SOLUTION: This tilling device 1 has a rotatable puddling rotor 10 and a rake body 50 arranged at the rear side of the rotatable puddling rotor. The puddling rotor 10 has a puddling shaft 11 supported rotatably in the horizontal direction and a plurality of puddling tines 20 arranged on the outer periphery of the puddling shaft at fixed intervals in the shaft direction of the puddling shaft 11. The puddling tines 20 have first puddling tines 21 and second puddling tines 31 having turning radii larger than those of the first puddling tines. These puddling tines are arranged adjacently at fixed intervals in the shaft direction of the puddling shaft 11 and in a mutually displaced state in the peripheral direction. Water between the first puddling tines 21 and the second puddling tines 31 adjacent in the shaft direction flows out from the tip part sides of the first puddling tines to the tip part sides of the second puddling tines 31 with the rotation of the puddling rotor 10 and soil is plowed with straws, or the like, in the deep position in stirred cultivated soil.
