PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing case structure of a freight car etc. capable of enhancing the stability at the time of running or dumping by devicing the structure of main girders and forming the floor part of a packing case with a small thickness as much as practicable to lead to a low-floor, lightweight construction. SOLUTION: The packing case structure of the freight car etc. is configured so that a left and a right main girders 3 are installed extending fore and aft on the reverse surface of a floor plate 21 of each packing case 1 mounted on a car body and an appropriate number of cross-beams 6 are installed stretching across the width, wherein each main girder 3 is composed of a girder body 7 formed approximately in groove shape and a reinforcement 8 provided in the girder body 7, and the two ends of the girder body 7 are arranged continuously to the floor plate 21 while the reinforcement 8 is arranged upright at least to over the bottom part of the girder body 7. The reinforcement 8 is formed approximately in L-shape from a vertical portion 81 and a horizontal portion 82, in which the vertical portion 81 is formed upright from the bottom part of the girder body 7 while the horizontal portion 82 is formed continuously to the side of the girder body 7.
