A cleaning fluid heating reservoir and motor assembly for a range hood comprising a motor 15 equipped with a fan 12 and a heating reservoir 20 for cleaning fluid. The heating reservoir 20 being adapted to retain cleaning fluid, absorb heat from the fan motor 15 and transfer the heat to the cleaning fluid. The heating reservoir 20 is preferably integrally formed with the motor 15 and includes an inlet 34 and an outlet 26. The heating reservoir 20 may be on top or at the perimeter of the motor 15. There may be a further intermediate reservoir 30 provided to feed the heating reservoir 20 via the inlet 34. The assembly may further comprise a first pump 28 connected to the intermediate reservoir 30 for pumping fluid to the heating reservoir 20 and a second pump 32 connected to the intermediate reservoir 30 and a fluid delivery means 31 for delivering cleaning fluid to the inside of a motor housing 10. The heating reservoir 20 may comprise heat conducting piping. The fluid delivery means 31 may comprise a spray nozzle.
