PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stains of paper at a paper end and improve the quality of printing by printing no printing data from a paper end to a value set by software without changing the printing position of the printing data when carrying out full paper printing. SOLUTION: In a printing data output section, there are provided an X-direction left side printing forbidden region-setting register for setting a region in an X-direction left side to the paper end where printing is forbidden, an X-direction right side printing forbidden region-setting register for setting a region in an X-direction right side to the paper end where printing is forbidden, a Y-direction upper side printing forbidden region-setting register for setting a region in a Y-direction upper side to the paper end where printing is forbidden, and a Y-direction lower side printing forbidden region-setting register for setting a region in a Y-direction lower side to the paper end where printing is forbidden.
