<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new system for collecting merchandise purchase information by associating the information with customer attributes. <P>SOLUTION: This merchandise purchase information collecting system (10) for collecting merchandise purchase information from a POS terminal (40) which are set in a plurality of stores is provided with a tabulating server (11) connected through a network to the POS terminal (40) and a customer database (12) for storing the merchandise purchase information acquired by the tabulating server (11). The merchandise purchase information includes information for specifying customer IDs for uniquely identifying the customers who have purchased merchandise, the purchase stores, and the purchase dates.
