PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining an estimated value of a power gain without measuring the gap between cores.

SOLUTION: A control system is for adjusting and calibrating an electromagnetic device such as an EI core electromagnetic device using adaptive gain adjustment. When a controller is provided with an input current and a power output, the controller provides an output signal for indicating an estimated value of a power gain. Here, the estimated value of the power gain is equal to the ratio of the power output to the second power of the input current.
