<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any inconvenience that a leaving time is printed in the area for the next day when working hours cross a date change time in a time recorder. <P>SOLUTION: This time recorder is provided with a control program for switching a date change time based on a working time zone. This date change time control program is configured to refer to the monthly working schedule of each employee previously written in a memory, and to switch the date change time at a point of time isolated from the working time zone on that day when a time card is inserted, and to perform time recording/print processing. For example, when the working time zone on a certain day ranges from 00:00 to 08:30, and attendance registration time on the previous day is 23:45, and leaving registration time is 09:00 on the that day, the date change time at a point of time isolated from the working time zone, for example, 21:00 is applied.
