<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bi-directional blood sugar measuring instrument capable of selectively binding a measuring strip to both ends of upper and lower sides of the main body and widely improving the use convenience of a user during measuring blood sugar. <P>SOLUTION: The bi-directional blood sugar measuring instrument is composed of a main body having a display part which is formed at the front face to display the measurement numerical value and various image information, an upper inserting slit which is formed at the upper face of the main body and can be inserted in the strip for measuring in the upward direction, and a lower inserting slit which is formed at the lower face of the main body and can be inserting in the strip for measuring in the downward direction. Therefore, by using this bi-directional blood sugar measuring instrument, blood sugar can be measured with the downward strip at the inside part of a forearm for collecting blood, which is inserted and attached to the lower side of the main body, and so blood sugar can be measured conveniently and rapidly without pain induced during collecting blood from fingertip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
