MAGNETIC CARRIER AND TWO-COMPONENT DEVELOPER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic carrier making it possible to obtain high-sharpness images which are free of toner fogging and carrier adhesion and have excellent fine line reproducibility for a long period of time and a two-component developer. SOLUTION: The sufficient enhancement of the specific resistance of the carrier is made possible by employing the configuration that metal oxide particulates are incorporated into resin coating layers laminated on core particles of even the magnetic carriers prepared by using ferrite particles as the core particles. Consequently, the high-sharpness images which are free from carrier adhesion and fogging and have excellent fine line reproducibility for a long period of time are obtainable.
