GLUE APPLYING KNIFE FOR BASE BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glue applying knife for a base board which prevents operator's hand from being brought into contact with a floor surface when applying the glue on a surface to be applied vertical to the base board and reduces the load to the operator because of the easy operation even when performing long time operation. SOLUTION: This glue applying knife for the base board is provided with a knife part which is abutted to the surface of the base board by making the applying edge side vertical to the floor surface, recessed parts of a plurality of approximately triangular teeth which are formed on the applying edge side and a grip handle connected so as to hold the knife part. Therein, the glue applying knife for base board applies the glue mounted on the side surface of the knife part to the surface of the base board horizontally comb-shapedly by moving the knife part horizontally which is abutted to the base board with the knife part kept to be vertical to the floor surface. Further, the grip handle is formed obliquely for the applying edge side so that the applying edge side is made nearly vertical to the floor surface and the back end of the grip handle becomes higher than the front end thereof.
