Disclosed is a compound of the structural formula I wherein the substituents are as described in the specification. Compounds of the structure disclosed are useful in the treatment of ocular hypertension, glaucoma, macular edema, macular degeneration, increasing retinal and optic nerve head blood velocity, increasing retinal and optic nerve oxygen tension, preventing hyperpolarisation of a mammalian cell containing a potassium channel, treating Alzhemer's disease, depression, cognitive disorders and arrhythmia disorders. |
