The invention relates to a method of producing a piezoelectric transformer (100) comprising a primary structure (4) and a secondary structure (8). The inventive method comprises a step (a) consisting in using a model equivalent to the transformer in order to determine a geometric parameter of the structures or a physical parameter of a constituent material of said structures, taking account of an expression of the heat release caused by losses in the transformer.
