There is provided a video display device capable of easily displaying 3-dimensional-like video having an excellent visual effect. The video display device includes: a projector (2); and a decoration display body (1) having a plurality of colored dots arranged on one surface of the light transmitting substrate and a plurality of light collective elements transmitting light on the other surface as well as image formation means, at least in a part, for image formation of the projected light from the projector (2). A virtual image of dots appears on the surface different from the surface having video obtained by the image formation means, thereby giving a 3-dimensional-like visual effect. It is preferable that the dots of the decoration display body (1) and the light collective elements be arranged in the same direction with different pitches.
