PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a lithium secondary cell capable of increasing charge and discharge capacity and improving cycle characteristics.

SOLUTION: This electrode for the lithium secondary cell is equipped with an anode collector 1 made of a zirconium copper foil and an anode active material layer 2 made of a silicon film with boron of 0.01 atom % or more added formed on the anode collector 1 made of the zirconium copper foil.
