<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw cap which can realize opening/closing and attachment/detachment through a minimum rotation by providing a tapered screw on a screw cap-type vessel. <P>SOLUTION: This screw cap has a tapered male screw in an outer peripheral face in a mouth neck part of the body, and a tapered female screw, having an identical inclination angle, in the inner peripheral face in a cap threadably engaged with it.
