<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of moire in a three-dimensional display device equipped with a plurality of optical elements for display arranged at different depth positions viewed from an observer. <P>SOLUTION: In the three-dimensional display device equipped with the plurality of optical elements for display arranged at the different depth positions viewed from the observer, the optical element for display has a plurality of pixels, and also a plurality of pixels are arranged so that their center of gravity positions are cyclic. At least one of a plurality of optical elements for display is equipped with a shift optical system arranged on the display surface side of the optical element for display and making the center of gravity positions of a plurality of pixels optically noncyclic. The shift optical system is an optical fiber plate including a transparent plate having ruggedness, combination of the transparent plates having ruggedness, a transparent plate having a nonuniform refractive index or a fiber whose projection at an end point to another surface is different from the other end point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
