<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital combinational meter having a sense of sophistication by removing a sense of incongruity due to a digital display part in the analog/digital combinational meter. <P>SOLUTION: Since a dial 51 included in the analog/digital combinational meter has a black base, the background color of an LED 41 is black, and surface glass 8 is smoked, the arrangement of the LCD 41 in the meter is not perceived at all. A sense of incongruity due to the presence of the LCD 41 in the meter is thereby removed. In addition, bar designs 41c and 41d and bored designs 51a and 51b emitting light in a black color exhibit a three-dimensional effect similar to a light emitting pointer.
